How do I get featured?
​There are no special requirements to get featured. Following us is always nice, and using our hashtag #hikingdogsofinstagram increases the chance of our team seeing your photos! We do not feature private accounts, so make sure your page is public!

How do I become a meet up leader for my area?
Leadership applications open up every 6 months, and we are always looking to expand our team. You can check out how to become a leader under our meet-ups tab!

How do I host a meet-up for Hiking Dogs of Instagram?
Our leaders are the ones who host meet-ups for their areas on our behalf. You can apply to become a leader and host meet-ups for us when applications are open!

My dog is reactive. Can I bring them to a meet-up?
Yes! While you are required to agree to our rules and safety waiver when attending meet-ups, we always recommend contacting the leader of the meet-up you want to attend ahead of time to get permission. We recommend discussing whether it will be the right environment for your dog, getting as many details as possible, and giving time to discuss your dog's behavior and triggers with the group.
