We were stoked when we got the opportunity to partner with Ryōken Instinct this year to test out some of their Ruku Bars and Limited Protein Regen Bars! If you're unfamiliar with this brand, they make high-quality, limited-ingredient, high-value bars that are great for training, hiking adventures, and adding extra nutrition to your dog's diet.

One of my favorite ways to give the bars was when we were doing any sort of training where a high-value treat was needed and if we knew we were going on any sort of hike. Being that Flik is still a puppy, he eats three meals a day, and when we hiked in the middle of the day, he didn't get his lunch, so the bars were a great addition to help them maintain energy while hiking.

Another great thing about the bar is the design. They come almost like a chocolate bar shape and each square can be easily broken off, which was super ideal when doing any sort of training or wanting to give Flik a quick bite on a hike.

Flik pretty much loved every single bar that we received from them, however, his absolute favorites included the boar, seafood, and beef recipe. The only one he wasn't jumping for was the lamb but he still ate every bit of it!

One of the best parts as well is that they are very limited ingredient-based bars and each package displays exactly what is in the bars on the front. They also are meant to support sustained energy for better muscle recovery, and joint health and can't help with boosting and improving your dog's metabolism. For having not only a very active breed but also a dog that is constantly hiking, swimming, playing, etc. it's important that Flik's body is recovering well and getting the fuel he needs, especially as he grows. These bars made it easy to maintain everything he needed.

Another bonus was that each bar came in a resealable package, so if you did not want to give your dog the full bar all at once, it was easy to slide it back into the package and seal it up for later.

Be sure to check out all that Ryōken Instinct has to offer! We will definitely be ordering from them again!
